Messaging is at the heart of your experience on Male Sugar Baby Dating (MSBD). This guide explains how Winks, private messages, video calls, pinned chats, and hidden conversations work.

1. Winks

Daily Wink Limits

  • Standard Members:
    • Registered more than 3 days → Up to 40 Winks per day
    • Registered less than 3 days → Up to 20 Winks per day
  • PREMIUM Members: Unlimited Winks

What is a Wink?

  • A quick way to express interest
  • Sends a pre-set message to another member
  • Appears in the recipient’s Chat section
  • The recipient can view your profile and respond
  • All members can send Winks for free
Note: To initiate custom messages or fully communicate freely, upgrading to PREMIUM is required.

2. Unsend Message

How to Unsend

  • Hover your mouse over the message or photo
  • Click the three-dot menu (…) that appears
  • Select Unsend

Rules

  • Messages can be unsent within 5 minutes of sending
  • No approval from the recipient is required
  • The recipient will see a system notification indicating a message was removed

3. Hidden Conversations

How to Hide a Conversation

  • Go to Chats
  • Open the conversation
  • Click the top-right three-dot menu
  • Select Hide Conversation

How to Unhide

  • Go to your profile → Settings
  • Select Hidden Conversations
  • Click Unhide
Hidden conversations are not deleted. They are simply removed from your main chat list.

4. Pin Conversations

What is Pin?

Pin allows you to place important conversations at the top of your chat list for quick access.

Pin feature is available to PREMIUM members only.

How to Pin

Desktop:

  • Open the conversation
  • Click the Pin icon at the top-right
  • Click again to remove Pin

Mobile:

  • Swipe left on a conversation in the chat list
  • Select Pin or Unpin

5. Video Call

How to Start a Video Call

  • Open a conversation in Chats
  • Click the camera icon in the top-right corner
  • Wait for the other member to accept

Starting from Profile Page

  1. Visit the member’s profile
  2. Click Video Chat
  3. Allow camera and microphone permissions
  4. Begin the call after acceptance
Always ensure you are comfortable sharing live video. MSBD recommends communicating within the platform before sharing personal contact details.

6. Chat History

To review previous conversations:

  • Click the Chats tab
  • Select the desired member
  • Scroll through the conversation history

7. Auto-Reply Message

How to Turn Off Auto-Reply

  • Click your profile avatar (top right)
  • Go to Settings
  • Select Auto-Reply Message
  • Disable “Enable Auto-Reply When I'm Offline”
Auto-Reply allows you to automatically respond to new messages while offline. You can customize or disable this feature anytime.

Safety Reminder

For your safety, never share sensitive personal or financial information in messages. If you suspect fraudulent behavior or harassment, please report the user immediately via the Report feature.
